I love creating feathers, yet creating a different look or composition is somewhat difficult at times. I wanted a yin/yang composition, I also bought an airbrush and wanted to test it out. I had been thinking a lot about Indian blanket patterns and wanted to incorporate those patterns in some how.
I love texture, and I got to play a lot with texture on this on. Not only was the airbrush paint transparent it was also metallic, giving the pattern an interesting shine.
The original piece of artwork was done with acrylic paint
